[Saturday: 8 miles, Sunday: rest, today: 5 miles]
It seems like the weekend zoomed by.
Saturday morning we were at the running group. Had a bit of a problem toward the end of our scheduled run and we called for a ride at after 8 miles. Then we visited a bit at the in-law’s house (very nice!).
After that we picked up some luggage which we purchased off an internet swap list then it was back home.
In the afternoon I wrestled with the wifi configuration on my new Beaglebone Black. No joy there.
In the evening I went in to the ham radio club’s field day event. I operated on the radio from approximately 7 pm to 11:30. Radio conditions were kind of poor but we did get a few contacts on 20 and 40 meter sideband. We had some visitors to the station also. It was a nice evening.
Sunday morning was relaxed. Then we went to church, ate a hamburger at Christy’s and came home. At home we packed up the boat with #1 son and went to Lake Columbus for fishing.
Home again in the evening it was more Beaglebone Black and a warm bath reading the latest issue of Electric Radio magazine.
Picture today is the autonomous weather station doing it’s thing in Starkville.
