Race on Saturday

[Today’s run: 2 miles]

We have been tapering this week in preparation for our 1/2 marathon race in Meridian on Saturday.

The “official” training plan has us taking Thursday and Friday off.  We went easy the rest of the week also, because we aren’t spring chickens anymore and it takes us that long to recuperate from a pretty good running schedule over the last few weeks.

And it lets me eat too much and get that much fatter by race time on Saturday.
