[Today’s run: 9 miles (Yesterday 5 miles)]
After the run this morning I went to the MFJ 40th Anniversary and ARRL Day In The Park event in Starkville.
I had packed some stuff into the trunk of the car for the tailgate/swap and actually sold some stuff. I enjoyed talking to a number of people, some of whom I had met before but most were new. I even saw a “customer” from last January’s Jackson, MS hamfest and he was satisfied with our past transaction.
At noon they had a free fried chicken dinner at McKee Park, very tasty. And then they had a few speeches and some door prizes. A very nice day.
The weather was a bit chilly. But I survived it ok.
