[Today’s run: 2 miles of flat then 1.5 miles of hill repeats]
After finishing the overhead parts of our patio/pergola, we waited a couple of weeks to cogitate on what should happen next.
We had a local landscaper come out and look at it. This near corner was quite a bit lower than the far end. His idea was to put in this little rock wall using native rocks. We went with that.
Last week I took delivery of some gravel and we filled in the low corner. I now have forms for the concrete in place, things are generally level, and the re-bar-ish stuff is in. So it is time to get some concrete in there.
I called a guy last night and he was supposed to come by this morning and give us an estimate on the concrete work. But he did not show up. We’ll give him another day then maybe call someone else.
But even with just this part done it is starting to look pretty good. I’m hoping another week or two and we will have this all in place and I can put dirt around the edges and put the patio table out in the middle.
