I’ve been playing Wordle in the morning, and the daily chess puzzle on chess.com.
Looking back in this blog I see that I did 200 days of Wordle a while back. Then they sprung a puzzle word on me that had a whole cloud of related words that were spelled only one letter differently. So even if you guessed the other four letters right away, there were still more candidates than you could ever test. Success was totally up to luck. And I found that pretty annoying.
So I don’t really expect to hang on to Wordle for very long.
Chess has been ok. I’ve played at least one game each day for the last 83 days. And I’m not sure how many of the daily puzzle.
I don’t really have aspirations for either one of them, so I’ll go until it seems better to stop.
I had the old clarinet out of the case over the weekend. I may try to make another run at that. Who knows.
