Unlike Sasquach and the Loch Ness Monster, I now have un-retouched photographic proof that I really wasn’t dreaming when I thought I saw the AC coil all frozen up.
It is doing it again.
I’ve called the AC guy whose name is on the furnace, left him a message.
I also called the local electric Co-op which is our electric utility. They have some financing arrangements for larger heat-pump projects which meet efficiency goals. I’m thinking this should be a less-then-total-replacement type of fix. But if it comes to that we may see about an upgrade to the insulation and the physical plant.
