Had a nice surprise today.

We’ve been having some trouble with our “canopy”  internet service recently.   It is a small company that covers a few counties around here.

We have had this internet service for 2-1/2 years  and this is the first time we have had extended trouble with it.  During rain storms or fog our signal strength goes way down and we lose our connection.  It may be that the antenna has turned a bit in the high winds we had last spring.  Or maybe there is something else.

The surprise was:   the service provider called and said they would be coming out to re-direct our antenna, or at least see if something could be done.    It is nice that they noticed!

Unfortunately, the time that they mentioned came and went and no sign of them.  I’m hoping they eventually show up tomorrow or even the next day.

So A+ for the phone call.  And D- for not showing up somewhere near the predicted time.  If they get us back to a reliable state then good solid B.  And I’d be very happy with that.
