[Today’s run: Watson Road]
Three days a week I run with my wife. She just started running last fall and she is doing very well with it.
For years and years I only ran by myself. Then I started running on Saturdays with the Boardtown Runners group in Starkville. And now I run more than half the time with someone else. I like it both ways. The variety is really nice. And it helps me get variations in pace; when I run by myself it is pretty much at the same speed all the time.
When we run in the morning, she knows that my hearing is not so good, and I know that her eyesight in low light is not so good. So we carry on a regular conversation,
“Car in front!”
“I see it!”
“Car behind!”
“Ok!”
