[Today’s run: 1 mile walk/run with wife and dog]
The field behind our house usually gets mowed once a year. Otherwise it grows weeds and feeds the deer.
It has already been mowed this summer and these tall weeds have come up. This picture is at head level, so the weeds are 5 to 6 feet tall. The stalks are about 1/2 inch in diameter. The heads are probably about 8-9 inches tall, white fiber stuff that gets fluffy as it ages.
