[Today’s run: 5k]
Today I ran in a 5k race with my wife and sister-in-law.
In the afternoon I climbed my radio tower to reposition the peak of my G5RV antenna. I have it in a sort-of inverted-V setup. My ground anchor points are a bit limited and it was kind of bent. I figured out a way to straighten it out some, also stretch it out a bit flatter.
I also worked on making a circuit board for part of my GPS-DO project. I struggled quite a bit trying to get the toner-transfer process correct. I watched a couple of videos on youtube.com. Anyway, I eventually got a decent board made. Once I had it all drilled I discovered that I had printed it with the wrong orientation so the pins didn’t work out the way I needed. I guess I get to practice some more.
Later in the day we went out for ice cream and I successfully demolished a caramel sundae with hot fudge and pecans.
