Beautiful Easter Sunday

[Yesterday: 7.3 miles; today: tired]

We  have a beautiful Easter Sunday morning here.  The weather station says 56 degrees.  It is breezy and sunny.

The chocolate vine on our back porch arbor is blooming, and growing.  I was out a little while ago and trimmed some of the monkey grass while doing my regular Sunday AM phone conversation with the folks in Iowa.

I will get myself around here in a little bit and go to church where I expect to hear a good Easter Sunday sermon.

Yesterday evening my son and I worked on our fishing equipment.  He bought a new reel and I held the spool of line while he cranked it on.  We also both renewed our fishing licenses.

There was some excitement in the bee yard yesterday also. Our “trough hive”, which we don’t really manage or do anything with, produced a swarm which settled in a dead branch in the woods.  I suspect they will move on this morning after things warm up a bit.  They will need to find a more sheltered spot to build their new home.
