It appears that I have made the switch from Brooks Addiction to Altra running shoes. (I don’t even know what kind of Altra I’ve got!)
I’ve been buying the same Brooks shoes for at least 5 years now, so it is a bit of a shocker. My wife runs in Altras. I checked their website and they had a discontinued model for a reasonable price in my size. I ordered a pair. And here we are.
They are lower in the heel and larger in the toe-box. The look kind of like colorful clogs. But they are comfortable to run in. I take shorter steps, particularly at the first when I’m getting warmed up. But after half a mile or so I get into it and stretch out a bit.
