I made a bit more progress on my 10 Mhz frequency standard (GPSDO = GPS disciplined oscillator].
I have all of the component parts. Now I have to work on interconnections. I need to sit down and map out which connections will have 10 Mhz running on them and whether some parts need to be shielded in a box of some sort.
I have always had problems with connections to circuit boards. They make “headers”, which are of standard sizes. But I never seem to have any of that kind of thing. And the old junk that I tear apart has weird combinations of connectors, number of wires to the connectors, etc. So I’m going to contemplate for a bit and see if anything gets clearer.
