i have been trying to make some headway in Virginia Woolf’s To The Lighthouse. i am up to page 52 and nothing much has happened yet. the whole thing is people’s thoughts about each other. most interesting so far is sciopathic little boy. i would say “the plot thickens” but there doesn’t seem to be one. suspense is whether i will survive to the end or die in the effort.
