[Today’s run: nothing]
On our recent trip we had a Kindle which was kindly on loan from the public library.
I had not spent any time with any of the e-reader devices that are on the market these days. I was impressed with the screen (B/W) and also impressed with the quantity of books on the thing. I did not completely like the user interface, but also am sure that I was not using it to it’s best since I only had it for a little while.
We had two or three books going on at the same time and I had problems remembering which book I was working on. I think there was some kind of bookmarking feature that would have solved that problem but I never tried to figure it out.
I think it would be cool to have. And if someone was an avid reader of new books it would pay for itself rapidly. I’m not sure for me that it is worth the cost. But the prices have been dropping, so maybe someday.
Picture today is more from the beer factory. This is the bottling line. It was not running at this point, they were doing some cleaning. Maybe it was between batches or something, don’t know. Those are bottles of “Fat Tire” beer.
