[Today’s run: 1 mile with the dog]
The last few evenings we have been watching Adam-12 reruns on Hulu.com on the laptop.
I guess that is kind of sad that we don’t have a 42″ flat screen TV with 99 channels of guys buying stuff at auctions or people named Snookie.
That’s the way it goes. If I had a TV I would be glued to it every day. This way there is some silly inconvenience of putting the laptop on a kitchen chair and watching the little-bitty screen and finding a show that sounds interesting.
Not only that, the old shows are better anyway. Take Adam-12 for example. The show is about uniformed policemen. They do policeman stuff and there is very little social commentary.
We did hear one good line this evening. Speaking about some of the strange people they had been meeting, one officer told the other, “The world is full of squirrels.” That pretty much sums it up.
