Happy Sunday~last day of the weekend!
We got up early. MFH (My Favorite Husband) made pancakes for breakfast! Ate a pancake and of course had a cup of coffee, then hurried out the door for our run. Seeing as it is Sunday, we needed to scoot so we wouldn’t be late for church.
When we got started, it was thundering like crazy! We didn’t actually SEE the lightening and it wasn’t raining at all…the sky was just grumbling so we decided to go out and be a lightening rod for a little over 7 miles. LOL!!!
We finished up our run without a drop of rain! How about that!?! The sky was still complaining, though.
Hopped in the shower and got beautified. Grabbed my purse. Opened the garage door and SWOOSH! It started pouring and hailing! Nope. Not driving to church in that! MFH and I decided to be a little late this morning and wait for the storm to pass.
We passed a bad wreck driving into town where a SUV had ping ponged off the median guard rail, crossed traffic and ended up, upside down in the ditch. The emergency vehicles passed us on their way to go help the people in the SUV. I’m pretty sure everybody was okay.
On the way home, it was pouring again. I took a pic out of the windshield so you could see. It’s kind of an icky day in Mississippi. I bet you’re glad you’re in Michigan right about now, aren’t you?
With everything I’ve told you about our weather today, I have a question to ask you. Where do you think Paxton has spent the day??? If you said, “Hiding in the hall bathroom.” you’d be exactly right! Poor Paxton.
Sure hope you’re doing well and Mother Nature is treating you better that us! We wrapped up April with 212.82 miles. That’s pretty okay miles. Tomorrow we should cross over 800 miles for this year. I’m such a numbers nerd!!! Hahaha!!
Happy, happy Sunday, Aiden. Wishing you a super week at school! YAY for good reports from yesterday’s appointment and YAY for not having to do big intervention on your seizures this week. Keep on being your awesome self!
