Today’s Run: 1.30 miles
Bad news: My knee is not very happy again.
Worse news: We did not sleep well last night.
WHY? I am so glad you asked me that question. I will share with you my tale of woe and my revenge.
We received over three inches of rain last night. Castro decided at midnight that he wanted outdoors, so he used his claws and went “Screeech” down the bedroom wall. I got up and put him out because that noise is awful!
(side note: we have one bedroom window without a screen on it)
1:30 a.m. Castro decided that he wanted back in because it was wet. So he goes to our bedroom window and with his claws goes, “Screeech” down the window. Argh! I get up and let him in.
2:00 a.m. Kali decided that Castro had woke her up enough that she wanted outdoors. I said, “Kali, it is wet out there!”. She did not care. She HAD to go out! So, I got up and let her out.
2:30 a.m. “Screeech” down the window. Kali had learned that trick from her son, Castro. “Argh”, again. I get up and let her in.
3:30 a.m. Castro goes to the wall and does the “Screeech” thing again. This time, my husband threw his pillow at the cat~missed. Rats. “Screeech!”. I let him out. And Kali.
Sometime after that, the dog started licking his paw. Lick, lick, lick, lick, lick, lick, lick, lick, lick, lick…
And then it was time to get up.
BUT, it was also Kali’s day to get booster shots! Ah-HAH!!!!! Revenge is so sweet!!!! She was sleeping!! Sleeping mind you, when I picked her up and stuffed her little kitty butt in her box and away we went to the vet where I was very unsympathetic to her plight. I am cruel and heartless, I guess. Tonight, heads will roll…but it is not raining, so we should be safe?
