We had a hectic day yesterday, slightly less so today. I guess it is stuff I can’t really get into here. (One way that a blog is not like a diary!)
I was very happy to get back over to Starkville this morning for the running club. They haven’t held it for about a month because one of our hosts had knee replacement (I hope I have that right). Everyone was looking pretty good this morning, so things must have gone OK.
We had a radio station listener make a request! That was pretty cool. So I have lined up the book he wants to hear, to start playing on Monday. This last week we also started playing chapters of Pride and Prejudice.
I’m still thinking about the remote operation. I did discover that the Bird wattmeter we are using has a metering port which will let me monitor that via a micro-controller or single-board computer. That was a nice surprise. I haven’t cracked how to do FM modulation monitoring. I have a computer accessible frequency counter, so I may try to hook that up to do frequency monitoring.
