Strutting our stuff

[Today’s run: 5.6 miles]

I went over to Starkville for the running club this morning only to find out that the gathering was cancelled this week.

I came home and replaced the fuser in a HP LaserJet 1300 printer,  a successful operation with the help of step-by-step directions on a web page.

After that was 5.6 miles with #1 wife including 6 hill repeats.

Then we had hot dogs for lunch.

Then #1 son came over and we replaced the struts on his car.  We spent some time at the various parts stores in town looking for a strut bolt socket but never found one.  We did get some loner strut spring compressors.  After wrestling with the first strut for a long time, we finally were able to get the bolt off.  We had the new strut on pretty quickly.  The second strut went smoothly since we had a working strategy this time.

After that we had some conversation and #1 son went home while #1 wife and I ate dinner.  Then I took a hot bath and read some wikipedia on my tablet computer.  Now I am doing my blog entry for the day.
