[Today’s run: 14 miles]
There is one feature of marathon training that I now remember: being tired.
We had a nice run today, 7 miles out and 7 miles back.
On the outbound part we had some dog encounters. On the return, I guess all the dogs were inside watching TV. But also on the return it started to get sunny and a bit hot.
My knees are a bit tired.
I remember when I was training for my marathon in 2010 and I would get all creaky when standing up in church. I seem to be headed back that way. Weighing 10 lbs more now also will contribute. I am about 10 lbs less then what I was 6 months ago, but I have a long way to go.
So that’s my story for today.
