Today we put new ceramic tile in the hall bathroom.
I have not done a tile job like this before. My father-in-law has quite a bit of experience with tile. He also has the tools.
So I asked him to help and he really came through. His tile saw and break worked great. And he really knew how to do the layout and get things going. Having an experience person at hand makes the difference.
I had done a fairly good job of preparing. The old linoleum came up easily. I took off the woodwork and trimmed the door pieces. The only other prep we had to do today was to put an extender on the toilet closet flange.
This looks a lot better than the linoleum did.
Tomorrow we will put in light brown grout. Then early in the week I will get the toilet back into place.
