Paxton had quite the day yesterday. He spent the majority of the day in hiding.
It all started in the morning right after breakfast. Paxton was walking through the kitchen. He was minding his own doggie business when all of a sudden:
WHAM!
Kali, our dark colored kitty, reached out from the chair she had been hiding behind and smacked Paxton!
Paxton stopped dead in his tracks. He looked around trying to figure out what had just happened. He spied Kali leering at him from behind the kitchen chair and walked over to try to make amends.
When he got close enough to Kali, she reared back and hissed at him and took another swing.
Paxton retreated.
He was puzzled.
His puppy feelings had been hurt.
Poor Paxton.
For some reason, Kali was in a mood all day yesterday. Whenever Paxton was near, the claws (literally!) came out.
Paxton decided the hall bathroom was the safest place in the house and he ensconced himself there for the remainder of the day.
The day progressed and Paxton wouldn’t come out of the bath. No amount of coaxing on our parts could convince him to leave that room. That is until:
*crinkle*
Did I just hear a Nutty Bar wrapper!?!
*crinkle*
I did! I did just hear a Nutty Bar wrapper!!!
ZOOM!
And there he sat. Waiting.
And waiting…
“Maybe if I put on the snaggletooth look I can get a bigger piece?”
Hahaha!!!
