Today’s Run:  50 min lifting at the “Y”

Tonight we were supposed to drive to Smithville, MS to meet up with one of my husbands Ham Radio buddies.  This gentleman was at our house over the weekend to help my husband with the tuning of one of the antennas on his radio tower.  As per custom, they swapped some equipment.  The guy left with a signal generator and we were supposed to go to his house this evening to pick up some feed line.

I was interested in this drive because a year ago Smithville was obliterated by a tornado.  We lost some of our roof that same evening due to the same storm.  Our roof has since been repaired and Smithville has been actively rebuilding, also.  So, it was with great interest that we made plans for the hour drive North today.

Late this afternoon my husband received an email saying that our trip was to be delayed until his friend returned from vacation.  Bummer.  No drive.  Oh well, something to look forward to, right?
