Today’s Run:  4.21 miles

Today’s run included some interaction with animals.  We passed two bunnies, two deceased birds and two donkeys. The donkeys were in a fenced field and did not have a thing to say to us.  They seemed to actually snub us!  This is unusual because the animals we pass are usually interested in what we are doing.

I tried to get them to talk and said the usual greeting of “Hee-Haw!”.  This got me no-where.  Well, I’ll be!!!  Snubbed by a donkey and a 6:00 in the morning no less!  This had to be fixed.  So I tried “Hee, hee, hee, haw, haw, haw!” just like they used to do on the show Hee-Haw.  Nothing.  Well, we had to get moving, so I had to admit defeat.  I hate doing that.  What I dislike more is having the introduction from Hee-Haw stuck in my mind all day.  So, to make myself feel better, I will share some classic Hee-Haw with you! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FQ5ob9B9yD4
