I’ve been thinking about starting another little project.
I would like to turn our television into the equivalent of a window. To do so, I ordered a little gizmo that converts “composite” video to HDMI. I have a very long HDMI cable. And I have a not-very-fancy camera which puts out composite video. If I get it all working I hope to mount the camera on the back of the house somewhere, run a short cable of composite video to the converter and a long cable of HDMI to the back of the tv.
