[Today’s run: none, yesterday 6 miles]
We have had a good weekend.
On Saturday we went to the running group in the morning. I ran to the first water stop and back, that makes about 6 miles, maybe a bit more.
Saturday afternoon I had a nice quiet sit in a hunting blind watching some turkeys cross a field. A bit later some deer came out and I was able to shoot one. We got it gathered up ok and there will soon be some meat in the freezer.
Sunday we had a very nice service at church topped by a very good sermon. And in the afternoon we went to a neighbor’s house and watched the Broncos beat the Patriots to go to the Super Bowl.
I have all sorts of projects and plans and things which I am not accomplishing. But the list of accomplishments this weekend looks pretty good to me.
