[today’s run: 3.5 miles]
Last December I was in Colorado and there was a cold snap. One morning I got into the car at the hotel and a crack started forming at about eye height on the left side of the windshield. Bummer.
Over the last 6 months it has grown and eventually it got about 2/3rds of the way across. So we got it replaced today.
It seems like there was some time in the past where auto glass was completely covered in our car insurance policy. But somehow either that is out of style or we don’t have the right kind of policy. Since it would still be almost all out-of-pocket expense due to the deductible, we just went ahead and paid for it ourselves.
