We made some further progress on the shack over the weekend. We got all of the rafters and framing of the roof done and then I put on the roof sheathing. I still need to trim the perimeter, then we can put up the drip edge and shingles.
I’m thinking now about my exterior sheathing. I think I should probably go two layers of material instead of one layer of “shed siding”. That will do a better job of keeping the weather out. But I haven’t completely decided yet.
I also have a lot of work to do around the window and door openings. The window opening isn’t even roughed in, I just left it blank.
