Craigslist.org is a free on-line classifieds advertisement website. It is very popular in some parts of the country and moderately popular here in Mississippi.
Two interesting things I’ve noticed on Craigslist:
1) People in Mississippi think their junk is worth money.
That is not meant to sound offensive, but it just seems like poorer people try to squeeze more money out of stuff. I guess that is not surprising.
2) People have problems with spelling. I frequently see the “sale” vs. “sell” problem : “I really want to sale this item today!”
Here’s an example that I found humorous.
