We have some very generous neighbors.
The man who owns the land back of our place took me out deer hunting this year. We went out four different times and I finally shot a doe last weekend.
I used his gun, his ammunition and he led me to the spot and I shot his deer. Then we worked it up at his place using his equipment. Tonight I went over to his house and we cut everything up into edible parts and he ran a lot of it through his tenderizer machine.
My wife and I just got done putting it in bags and putting it in the freezer here at our place.
I told my neighbor thanks, profusely. I’ll have to remember to send him a thank you card or otherwise express myself. I also told him I would be glad to go out again and “help” get another for his freezer if he likes.
People in Mississippi are very friendly. And we have had the good fortune to land in among a bunch of neighbors who are just the top of the heap.
