I’ve got the test equipment blues.
I was working on rewinding a coil for the HBR receiver project. I built a test setup to test the coil, it goes in the Beat Frequency Oscillator (BFO) section of the receiver.
I fired up the test thing and I turned on my oscilloscope to try to look at the waveform. Uh oh. The O-scope wouldn’t come on. darn.
So I ordered some power supply capacitors, two orders because I messed up the first one. And I’ve replaced almost all of the capacitors in the power supply.
But it still doesn’t work.
I actually had other things I wanted to work on. But I think they are going to have to wait so I can get this ‘scope fixed.
