[Yesterday run: 5 miles, today: rest day]
The plan is to finally install this first autonomous weather station in Starkville on Saturday.
I have a location. I have a cedar post which will go into the ground. The weather station parts will be mounted on the post. I have a plan for mounting all of the parts. I still need to cut some of the pieces, but I have all of the pieces, I think.
I still need to do a “save” of the microSD card which has all of the software on it, just in case it forgets something someday and I have to restore it.
This evening I looked at some solar installation information and I’ve determined that an angle of 28 degrees from flat is where we want to be. And we will face it south even though there are some trees in the way. In the winter the trees won’t have leaves and we will need all of that with the short days.
