[Yesterday’s run: 6 miles, today’s run: 5.3 miles]
I have my boat oars project to the point of integration testing.
I built the oars using 1×8 lumber.
I made the oarlock fittings from an old piece of mahogany wood that I salvaged from some crates.
The oarlocks are made from the cut off end of a ski pole and a sewn-on piece of cargo strapping.
I think it is going to work, but I have not had it in the water yet.
The only thing I am going to add to what you see in this picture is a flat washer between the ski-pole and the wood block.
