[Today’s run: Watson Road 3.5 miles]
A neighbor of ours has a large pond that is stocked with bass and bluegill. He has been very generous and allowed us to go fishing. He has an old boat with a trolling motor, which I can barely control. We chug out to the middle of the pond and cast jigs and lures.
On Monday we caught 3 bass.
The neighbor ended up cleaning the fish, which was more than he should have to do. On Wednesday morning I bought a filet knife at Wal-Mart so we can clean our own fish.
I’d like to get a couple of regular oars so I can move the boat without struggling with the trolling motor.
