[Today’s run: 5 kilometer race]
It was not that long ago that Wal-Mart sold an edition of the Rand-McNally road atlas which had their own labeling on it. It also had a section in the back that showed where all of the Wal-Marts are located.
We are soon to do some travels, and my wife took our atlas along with her, we think, on last summer’s trip to Alaska, and left it there. So we needed to find another atlas.
Low and behold, Wal-Mart didn’t have any at all. The lady at Wal-Mart was shocked, as were we.
I guess they are thinking we are all iPad/iPod/Android-ed up and can just google-map on the fly?
A great mystery.
