Today’s Run: Rest Day
We take our animals to the Animal Medical Clinic. The founding Veterinarian retired three weeks ago and one of his partners took over for him-Dr. Anderson. He is a very good Vet and has helped us through some tight spots with one of our cats~Kali. But that is a different story, kinda.
Kali has an auto-immune disorder and is a very sick kitty. She (we found out yesterday) will spend the rest of her kitty life on Prednisone. We crush the pills and hide them in tuna. She is a very happy kitty as a result. Dr. Anderson diagnosed this disorder and did some fancy tests to eliminate other things it could have been but was able to determine the problem. Yeah Dr. Anderson!
We had heard through the grapevine that Dr. Anderson had a son who is also a Vet. His son just recently came and joined the practice. We also heard that Dr. Anderson, the son, is married to a Mrs. Anderson (go figure) who is also a Vet! So, when you go the the Vet’s office they ask, “Which Vet would you like to see?” and I reply “Dr. Anderson” (and I manage to say it with a straight face!). I bet they are going to get tired of hearing that real fast.
Yesterday, Kali was sick again and we had to take her in. We had Dr. Anderson (the daughter-in-law) and she did a reasonable job. Kali is feeling a bit better today and was very disagreeable yesterday evening which leads me to believe that with the Dr. Anderson trio, we are in good hands.
