Today’s Run: 1.78 miles and 50 min lifting at the “Y”

Friday is was cloudy.  Saturday is rained.  Sunday it rained.  Monday it rained. We got a lot of rain!  We received a total of 3.70 inches of rain.  That is a lot of rain.

I thought I was done mowing for the season.  Ha! Ha!  Friday the grass was short and brownish and today (the sun came out at mid-day) it is a pretty green and long.  So, tomorrow or the day after, depending on how mushy the ground is, I will pull the mower out and cut the grass~again.

Complaining about cutting the grass is fun but the reality is, I really enjoy mowing.  If I had my way, and if I had the money, I would buy a tractor and a bush hog and mow for extra money.  I really like mowing.  But as it is, I will have to be content with my really cool, zero turn radius, John Deere mower (so you see, it really is not a hardship~I do not have to do a push mower or anything like that).

Also, once the ground dries out a little, we will have to get to work scraping the ground to pour the concrete slab and finish up the arbor/pergola!  Once that slab is poured that project is fine’.  Cool Beans, huh?

One last little note, the property in Bemidji is for sale!  Hmmm…
