Today’s Run:  50 Min lifting at the “Y”

Answer:  To prove to the armadillo that it could be done.

If you live in the South, that is the oldest joke known to mankind.  Road kill is the only way most people ever see an armadillo in the wild but we have had one in our yard this past week.  They are a strange looking creature and they dig up the yard!

My Son told me earlier this week that he had seen an armadillo in the back of the property while we were at the “Y”.  I thought, “Oh, that’s nice”, and did not give it a second thought.  Then the dog started being afraid of going outdoors to do a “good boy” because he was scared of the armadillo.  The armadillo was making my life difficult.  The cats decided it would be fun to chase the creature.  Unfortunately, they did not catch it.

Today, in between rain storms, I cut the grass.  What did I find?  Places where that armadillo had dug up my lawn.  Not a happy thing.  So, that brings me back to the beginning quiz question.  Why DID that chicken cross the road?  Maybe it was a more devious plot to get that armadillo?  Probably not but it sure sounds like an interesting idea.  No?
