We really haven’t chatted about Paxton for quite a long while! I guess it’s time for an “update.”
Paxton went to the vet in December. It was time for his Heartworm preventative shot. These shots are great! You only have to get them every 6 months and they save a bundle on money. Heartworm preventative stuff is expensive! Especially for a dog the size of Paxton.
I have to have the goofiest dog in the world. He loves going to the vet!!! We pulled into the driveway and he was all wiggly with excitement. Before his shot, he had to be weighed so the vet would know how much “stuff” to give him. As of last month, Paxton weighs in at 132 pounds. Pudgy puppy!!! He got his shot and we go back in June for his next one.
Yesterday, Paxton got to go “bye-bye.” I think that has got to be one of his most favorite things ever. We only went to the gas station but he sat in the car and you could tell he was thinking, “I’m a lucky dog!” Hahaha!!!
Of course, he still thinks he should get a Nutty Bar whenever MFH (My Favorite Husband) and I split a package. He can really kick up a puppy fuss if he doesn’t get a nibble. Spoiled dog.
Today during lunch, he was contentedly eating his dog food.
MFH and I were done with our meal and MFH began to open a package of Nutty Bars for our dessert.
BOOM!
There was Paxton!
I don’t think he’s going to waste away any day soon. How about you?
