Today’s Run: 3.53 miles
Little Boy Blue
Come blow your horn
The sheep’s in the meadow
The cow’s in the corn.
Where is the boy
Who looks after the sheep?
He’s under the haystack
Fast asleep!
You do not see many haystacks anymore. It used to be fields of those rectangular bales and now it is the huge round ones.
My son and I drove into town on an errand today and noticed that they were (finally!) mowing and baling the field to the South of us. This is a good thing because the weeds had grown so high that it was difficult to see traffic at the only intersection in our area. So, hurrah! for those large round bales! The horses in the field will be happier and we will be able to see traffic when we run into town on errands.
