It was probably close to 7:00 yesterday evening when Paxton started going bonkers.  Someone was here!

Now, this wasn’t the usual, “Someone is here and you’d better come and check it out right away,” thing.  Oh No.  This was more of a, “Lookie who’s here!!!  My most favorite person in the whole wide world!!!”

Hmmm…

Usually, that would be #1 Son.  But then again, #1 Son just walks on in!

MFH (My Favorite Husband) and I hurried to the door.

OMG!  It was one of my running buddies who is also one of Paxton’s most favorite people in the whole wide world!  It was “Os.”

We haven’t seen Os since the end of March.  That was the last race we ran together.  Even though we only live 20 minutes apart, tops, our paths just never cross unless we are at a race.  Funny how that works.

Paxton was overjoyed!

I opened the door and Paxton zoomed out the door to meet and greet Os with lots of puppy wiggles.  You’ve never seen such a happy dog.  Hahaha!!!

What surprised me was that Os did NOT come empty handed.  Nope!  He came bearing a gift.  For PAXTON!!!

I was a big box of Nutty Bars.

How spoiled is this dog!?!

That is just toooooo funny!

Os came into the house and chatted for a few minutes.  Just long enough to love on Paxton and to wish me luck in Berlin.

Still, though, driving to my house to bring a present to my dog totally cracks me up!

That Os, he’s a good guy.   🙂
