Today’s Run:  2.38 miles~Hot, Hot, Hot!

Today we were on our way to begin our early morning run when we met up with our neighbor, Mr. Morris. “Mornin’ Ya’ll”, he says.  Uh, oh.  It is 6:30 in the morning and he is already out and about.

I just so happens that Mr. Morris has a trailer full of concrete chunks and tree roots that he has been wanting to get to the dump and today is the perfect day to do it (and around here you need to do it early, before it gets too hot).  He needs our truck to haul that trailer and he needs my husband to help empty the trailer at the dump.  So, our run gets a few hours delay.

Two hours later finds us on the road again.  It is now over 80 degrees and we cut our four mile run into a two mile run to make compensation for the heat.  Maybe we can try for another run tomorrow morning~to make up for today’s?

p.s.  I really like our neighbors!  I think that we have the best neighbors here than any other place we have ever lived.  Just want to make that clear!
