Paxton has a new toy!!!

Hahaha!!!

It used to be that almost every time I went shopping, I would come home with a new toy for my adorable, pampered, pudgy pooch, Paxton.  MFH (My Favorite Husband) frowned on Paxton having so many new toys.  The toys would virtually self destruct the second Paxton got a hold of them.

We used to call him, “Paxton the Destroyer.”

He’s not quite so hard on his toys anymore.  Finally!

Anyway, I found this new toy for him.  I hid it in the shopping cart when MFH and I went to Tractor Supply last week and we brought it home.

Paxton was thrilled!  He likes getting new stuff just as much as you and I do.

It looks like a stuffed animal.  It is yellow but it is NOT a stuffed animal.  It has an empty water bottle inside of it.  When Paxton chews on the water bottle, it makes all kinds of noise. Oh my goodness, does it make noise!

Paxton loves it!

The thing that is cool about this toy is that the bottom of it Velcros shut.  The idea is that when the dog has chewed all the noise out of the water bottle, you can open the toy, take out the old water bottle and put in a new one!  More noise for your buck!

The thing about this toy that makes me think Paxton isn’t such a dumb bunny is that when all the noise is out of the water bottle, he brings me the toy.  He is asking for a NEW water bottle.

Seeing as MFH drinks TONS of bottled water, we always have empties.  I grab an empty.  Take out the old water bottle and put in the new one.  I give it to Paxton and he trots away happy as a clam, chewing contentedly and making a ton of noise.

He is a happy guy.

We want a happy Paxton, don’t we?   😉
