Hear that buzzing sound?

Listen closer  bzzz, Bzzz, BZZZZ!!!

That is me.

Yesterday, I had a road trip.  I had 6 hours of driving to do.  By myself.  This was disconcerting because I get drowsy while I drive.

Enter:  5 Hour Energy Shot.  Grape.  Extra Strength.

I took my 5 Hour Energy Shot yesterday morning at about 5:00 am.  I timed this pretty close to the duration I would be driving.  I had to leave early in the morning and I wanted to make sure that I was working when I began my drive.

BOOM!  It hit and I was on the road.

My MIL is a super, super lady.  Bless her heart, she talked to me for close to three hours while I did the first leg of my drive. Between the talking and the energy shot, I was wide awake.

I reached my destination, did what needed to be done and turned around for the drive home.  No problems staying awake!  Cool Beans!  That thing really did the trick!

Last night at bedtime, it was still doing the trick!  

Aye, yi, yi!  I was wide awake!  I was twitching!!!  I was buzzing right along.

I talked to some tolerant people, on the phone, who kindly listened to me babble.  I laid in bed.  I would call someone else on the phone, who indulged my need to jabber.  Finally around midnight, I fell asleep.

2:00 am rolled around and the two cats decided they needed outdoors.  RATS.

I put them outdoors.  I came back to bed but it was too late.  I was wide awake.  Again.

I lay there for about another 45 minutes, twitching, and gave it up for a lost cause.

I really, really, really got my money’s worth from that 5 Hour Energy Shot!  As of this very moment, I am still just a Buzzing along.

It is going to be a very. long. day.
