I have a gift.  The gift is the ability to stick my foot in my mouth on any given occasion.

Sometimes both feet!  Now that is a trick!

I have a friend.  I consider her a good friend even though I have never met her.  She is a friend on two social media sites to which we both belong.  She is funny!  I found out yesterday that she is also very gracious and forgiving.

I embarrassed myself in the worst way in a conversation with her yesterday.

All I was trying to do was tell her some mundane detail and BOOM!  Both feet in my mouth!  Shoot!  An entire shoe store in my mouth!

I have the gift!

She was kind.  She laughed.  She forgave.

Whew!
