Marathon Training~Week 8 Day 3

Today’s Run:  Rest Day

Today was a rest day from Marathon Training.

It amazes me how much I look forward to these rest days!  Tomorrow though, is a running day and seeing as I did not run today, I am getting “itchy feet” to get on the road again.  YAY tomorrow!  Can’t wait.  I am ready to run some more.

This Saturday will probably be 19 miles.  The following weekend will just be a half marathon. 13.1 miles.  Easy!  (Ha!)

The HM training run will be my first Long Run all by myself.  My husband has a business trip so next week I will be doing all my training solo.  He is concerned about me running alone but I figure there are a lot of people who run alone so I can too.  Right?  And besides, it is just a few runs.  No big deal!

I am looking forward to this Saturday’s 19 miler~that way I do not have to run 19 by myself.  13 miles I can do…I already have the route mapped out~19 is a bit further than I care to go solo.  So it all works out just peachy!!!
