Today’s Run:  4.20 miles

Today the Fed-ex man pulled into our driveway.  He left us with a very large box.  It contained a Tandem Bicycle!  It was from my daughter and it was a combination birthday present and anniversary present!  Pretty cool!

There is a story behind this gift.

Last Summer, my daughter worked at a National Park and saw a “cute little old couple” travel around the park on a tandem.  She thought my husband and I would look “cute” on a tandem, too.  She told me at that time that when we were a cute little old couple and retired that she was going to make sure that we had a tandem to ride around on.

Well, we are not retired and as far as I am concerned, we are not a cute little “old” couple.  We may be a cute couple but not old!
