Holidays

Today’s Run: Watson Road (3.56 miles)

Today is President’s Day.  I like holiday’s because that means my husband might have the day off from work and today he did.  It is nice to see him have the time to play a bit on things he has wanted to do and not had the time to finish.

I also like holiday’s because there is no mail service.  What!?!  Yup.  No mail service means no Bills can come asking for our attention!  I like holiday’s because of that.

Today, though, I went to the grocery store.  By myself.  That was fine because my husband, on his day off, was cleaning the garage!  It was getting a little crowded in there.

We have been assembling Bee hives in there and consequently have been parking the car in the drive the past couple of day.  No room in the garage.  Now the frames and supers are all put together, the garage is cleaned out and the car is in the garage.  (You know the old Floppy joke:  Why did the man put his car in the oven?  Because the cake was in the garage.)  Well, we do not have a cake in the garage, we actually have a car in the garage!!!  Cool Beans!!

The other thing we did together today was move a light switch in the guest room from the middle wall on the far side of the room (a strange place for a light switch) to the wall right inside the door way.  That is much more convenient for people coming to visit.

It has been a breezy day but a sunny, warm day.  Lovely weather to enjoy on our errands and projects.  All in all a very nice day.
