Today’s Run: Rest Day (Yesterday’s Run: 11.04 miles)
What a weekend!
We ran a whole bunch yesterday. We ran with the running group and did the route called “Starr Forest”. It is an eleven mile route with 6 miles of gravel switchbacks. It is a difficult route and we were super tired last night~hence, no blog entry last night. (Asphalt is my friend)
But today~Well, today was church. Our pastor has been on vacation the past three weeks in Scotland. He is from Scotland originally so he and his wife and two boys go back every now and then to visit family and friends and to let the boys be spoiled by grandparents. It was nice to have them back today. He was afraid that his accent may be a bit thick for having been “home” but my husband and I had no trouble understanding him. I think we are just used to listening to him.
We found out through the grapevine that Wal Mart is having a sale on their patio furniture. We drove out yesterday and took a look and decided to go back today with the pick up and get a few pieces. We came home with one table and ten chairs.
TEN CHAIRS!?!
Yup. Ten chairs.
Why so many? Well, when the “whole crew” gets together we have at least that many people, and since the chairs were inexpensive, we bought ten. So, that means we need to have a party!!!
